Starring Hyun Bin, Hae-jin Yu, Yoona, Daniel Henney, Seon-kyu Jin, and directed and written by Seok-hoon Lee (‘The Pirates’ ‘The Himalayas’), the movie ‘Confidential Assignment 2: International’ released a character trailer and a set of character posters, and announced that it will be released in Korea on September 7 this year.
The sequel follows a North Korean detective, played by Hyun Bin, who travels to South Korea again to hunt down a criminal organization, and begins a global hunt for the crime syndicate in cooperation with a Korean detective, played by Hae-jin Yu, and the FBI, played by Daniel Henney.
