"Batgirl" chooses a male lead...or a villain?

At present, it is not clear what role he will play in the movie.

But according to the report, in addition to Grace, Scipio has also been locked as a co-star.

Initially, Joss Whedon was responsible for directing, producing and scripting “Batgirl”.

But after he “cannot tell the story correctly” (the original report), he left the film in 2018.

After Whedon quit, DC and WB hired the “Flash” writer Christina Hodson to write the script.

“Bad Boys” duo Adil El Arbi and Billall Fallah later joined as directors.

In “Bad Boys”, Jacob’s interpretation of the main villain Armando Aretas was greatly appreciated.

He also performed well in the Rod Lurie war movie “The Outpost” released in July 2020.

Then the problem comes:

What kind of character can become the leading actor in the “Batgirl” movie?

There are several possibilities.

Some fans thought he might play the role of detective Jason Bard, who had a marriage contract with Barbara in the comics.

The greatest possibility is that he may appear as the main villain of the movie, Firefly.

A previous casting report for “Batgirl” indicated that the film is looking for an actor who is about the same age and body as Scipio to play the firefly.

His casting has been in progress, but so far, there has been no news about the filmmaker’s final determination of the role.
