Glass and Weronika Tofilska (‘His Dark Materials’) wrote the script, which focuses on the extreme qualities needed to succeed in the competitive world of bodybuilding, examining a romantic love story driven by ego, desire, and the American dream.
The protagonist of the film is a female bodybuilder, with Stewart playing the role of her protective lover.
