With the end of ‘The Boys Season 3’, we enter the fourth season. The first and foremost conflict is between Homelander and Starlight.

“Both Homelander and Starlight are in a very interesting position at the end of the season, with Starlight leaving the Sevens and essentially joining The Boys, and more importantly having a young left-wing liberal group following her, which is both good and bad. And for Homelander, his fan group Home teamers represents the right-wing MAGA group (MAGA: Make America Great Again).” And the conflict between these two groups will intensify in season four.

“You start to see this idea of society itself split into these two factions. I don’t think either side is completely innocent. I think they’re not listening to each other at all, they’re just confronting each other and getting angrier and angrier at each other, and that’s not good. That’s going to be one of the themes of season four.”

Considering Homelander blew the heads off of Starlight supporters in public at the end of episode 8, the divide is pretty clear.

And in ‘The Boys Season 3’, The Deep murdered Dakota Bob’s presidential running mate Lamar Bishop at the behest of Homelander, thereby replacing Neuman, which means that if they are elected, Vought will have more political power if they are elected.

Eric Kripke said, “I don’t think it’s a spoiler, but we’re definitely going to try to get Dakota Bob as president and Neuman as a hidden pawn that Walt buried in the vice presidency, which will create all kinds of complications. Again, it’s not a spoiler to say that, because you’ve seen us move the pieces to that position, and the next natural step is to do the relevant storyline.”
