Recently, the famous American voice actress Tara Strong (who has voiced Harley Quinn, Bubbles and other characters) expressed her dissatisfaction with the “Super Mario Bros.: The Movie” on social media.
Strong said, “Charles (the voice actor of the game ‘Super Mario’) should be chosen as the voice actor for the Mario movie. She also included a photo of herself with Charles.
The movie caused a huge stir when Nintendo Co., Ltd. revealed the voice cast as Chris Pratt, Keegan-Michael Key, Jack Black and Seth Rogen back in 2021.
Fans pooh-bah think that maybe Mario’s voice actor should be Charles, because he has been voicing Mario since Mario had a voice.
In response, fans expressed their dissatisfaction with Nintendo Co., Ltd. and the production of the film Illuminatio Studios, which includes Strong.
And, Strong also said, “Voice Actor: I will devote myself to it for at least 20 years, helping to sell billions of dollars in merchandise, bringing in millions of dollars for the studio and making generations of people happy around the world. Hollywood: we don’t care”.
She then posted a message asking people to share photos and touching stories with Mario, to which Charles responded by thanking Strong and everyone else for their well wishes. And he said, “Something seems to have come out of my eyes today …… full of tenderness”.
The film will be released in Northern America on April 7 next year, with Chris Pratt voicing Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy with Princess Peach, Charlie Day with Luigi, Jack Black with Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key with Toad, Seth Rogen with Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen with Cranky, Kevin Michael Richardson with Kamek, Sebastian Maniscalco with Spike, Charles Martinet guest star.
