In a recent interview with GQ, Christian Bale talked about his role as “Batman”.
He said that he was not worried about his image being fixed when he took the role, but instead cherished the role that would be remembered by the public. But in the end, playing Batman also helped him pay off his mortgage, which gave him great relief because it had been his dream since he was a child.
Christian Bale was born in Wells, England, into an acting family and starred in stage productions at age 10 and television series at age 12. Spielberg saw him in the lead role in ‘Empire of the Sun’, and he went on to become a star.
