Filming started last month and the cast includes Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Stuart Martin, Cary Elwes, Corey Stoll, Michiel Huisman, Alfonso Herrera and others.

The story of the film takes place in a colony on the edge of the galaxy, which one day is threatened by a savage army called Balisarius. Desperate people send a young woman with a mysterious past to seek the help of warriors on a neighboring planet.

And this is also the first Netflix film since director Zack Snyder signed a first priority agreement with Netflix.

From the style of the story, “Rebel Moon” has a distinct Akira Kurosawa and “Star Wars” style.
