Amazon officially released a brand new trailer for the episode ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ today, with magnificent scenes and more new footage. The show’s budget is a whopping $465 million, a taste of funds on fire.
‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ is set thousands of years before the stories of ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and is based on Tolkien’s novel of the same name. The series is directed by J.A. Bayona and Wayne Yip and stars Lenny Henry, Peter Mullan, and Cynthia Yarday Robinson star.
The show begins in a time of relative peace and tells the story of a group of old and new faces facing the re-emergence of evil in Middle-earth.
From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the magnificent forests of Linden, the capital of the elves, to the breathtaking Númenor, and the farthest reaches of the map, the legacy of these kingdoms and characters lives on forever.
‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ will air on September 2, 2022, so stay tuned.
