‘The Lord of the Rings’ episode ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ releases new poster featuring Galadriel, opens for Amazon streaming on September 2.
“The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” will go back to the second era of Middle-earth, before the “The Lord of the Rings” series took place. Powerful forces are forged, kingdoms rise and fall into dust, unexpected heroes are tested, hope hangs in the balance, and the most powerful villain in fiction is about to darken all the world.
The episode begins in a period of relative peace and focuses on a group of characters – both familiar and unfamiliar – confronting a long-held fear: the return of evil to Middle Earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the magnificent forests of Linden, the capital of Faerie, to the exciting island nation of Númenor, to the farthest reaches of the map …… these kingdoms and characters will open up legends that will be told long after they are gone.
