Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel “Never Let Me Go” is planned for a theatrical version, FX is already developing it, and Melissa Iqbal (“The Nevers‎” “Origin‎”) wrote the novel.

“Never Let Me Go” tells the story of Kathy, Tommy and Ruth growing up at Hayson, a country boarding school in England, getting a good education and having a good youth.

However, one day they learn that the purpose of the school is to train them as organ donors, and they must give everything selflessly…

The 2010 film version stars Carey Mulligan, Andrew Garfield, and Keira Knightley, directed by Mark Romanek, and written by Alex Garland.
