According to World of Reel, “La La Land” director Damien Chazelle wrote and directed the all-star new film “Babylon” after a preview in Los Angeles and was blown away!
Viewers have described “Babylon” as a “masterpiece”, with many thinking of Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street” and Fellini’s “Fellini – Satyricon”.
The film gathers luxury casts such as Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Tobey Maguire, Olivia Wilde, Samara Weaving, etc. It is reported that the film is 185 minutes long.
“Babylon” is set from 1925 to 1952, and tells the story of Hollywood’s transition from the silent era to the talkie era.
Clara Bow, played by Margot Robbie, is a bright spot, and she’s expected to be a contender for best actress at the Oscars next year.
A show business reporter, played by Jean Smart, directs Clara Bow’s vocal performance in the film.
“Babylon” will be released in North America on December 25, and will be officially released on January 6 next year.
