“Hacks Season 2” will continue to focus on the dark mentorship between legendary Las Vegas comedian Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) and her young writer Ava (Hannah Einbinder), who are working on Deborah’s new stand-up comedy National rehearsal.
New recruits Laurie Metcalf, Martha Kelly, Ming-Na Wen play recurring roles, with Prentice Margaret and Prentice Cho making a cameo.
