The official trailer for Colin Firth’s new film “Operation Mincemeat” will be released in the UK on April 15th and on Netflix on May 11th.
The film is directed by John Madden (“Shakespeare in Love”) and stars Matthew Macfadyen, Kelly Macdonald, Jason Isaacs and more.

Based on real historical events, the film tells the story of 1943, during World War II, when the Allies were determined to break Hitler’s hold on the European occupied territories and planned an all-out attack on Sicily.
But they faced a daunting challenge: how to prevent a massive invasion from causing carnage.
Two prominent intelligence officers, Ewen Montagu (Colin Firth) and Charles Cholmondeley (Matthew Macfadyen), come up with a brilliant disinformation strategy: use a corpse to hide the truth.
