Recently, British actor Colin Firth appeared on the set of the film “Empire of Light”.

It is reported that “Empire of Light” is another new work by Sam Mendes, director of “1917”, “American Beauty” and “Skyfall”.
Sam Mendes participated in both the direction and the screenwriting of the film, and this is the first time he has acted as a screenwriter alone.
The film tells a love story set on the south coast of England in the 1980s and revolves around a beautiful old cinema.
“Empire of Light” is produced by Searchlight Pictures, and the film is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2022.
