J. K. Rowling did not appear in the ‘Harry Potter’ cast reunion special ‘Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts’, which was launched on January 1 this year, with only her archived remarks, sparking discussion and media coverage. “Rowling was isolated” said.

Recently, Rowling responded to this for the first time on Graham Norton’s radio show, saying she received an offer but chose not to participate, and that she is still in touch with the young ‘Harry Potter’ actor, but has a close relationship.

When Norton said, “They did the reunion show, but you were ‘left out’ in a sense ……,” Rowling denied it, saying. “I’m not actually ……”

She went on to explain, “They invited me to be on that show, but I made the decision that I ‘didn’t want to be involved,’ and I thought the focus of that show was about the movie more than the (‘Harry Potter’) novel, and rightfully so, was that anniversary. No one said to me ‘don’t do it,’ I was invited to participate, and then I decided not to go.”

Norton asked Rowling if she was still in touch with the young cast of ‘Harry Potter’ because some of the actors had made public comments about her.

Rowling said some of them, saying some of them she contacted more and some less, “which is a very common thing because I would be more familiar with some of them”.
