Disney recently took down the movie ‘Avatar’ from its streaming Disney Plus, and it’s unclear when the film will return to the streaming service.

The movie ‘Avatar’ has been warmly received by audiences since its release in 2009, and has ranked first in the history of the film with a box office of over $2.8 billion.

The film will be re-released in Northern America on September 23, down streaming this move may be to prepare for the re-release of the box office, the audience want to revisit the classic film will have to go to the theater to watch.

As for when ‘Avatar’ will return to Disney Plus, it is speculated that the movie may be re-shelved in December when the sequel ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ is released, just in time for viewers to recall the plot of the previous film.

‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ is directed by James Cameron and stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana, and takes place 14 years after the first film.

The movie will center on the children of the main characters of the previous film, a story about family.

The movie will be released in Northern America on December 16.
