In a recent trial, a jury in a defamation lawsuit learned of the former couple’s volatile relationship, including Amber allegedly throwing a can of Red Bull at Deep and calling him a “damn daddy.”
Jurors were also told that Amber, 36, had dealt a “devastating blow” to Deep’s career when he once described himself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse” in an op-ed.
Jack Whigham represented Deep at Range Media Partners and previously represented Deep at CAA.
Jack Whigham testified that the 2018 article thwarted Deep’s massive $22.5 million deal with Disney and that he could have reprising his role as Captain Jack.

The agent, who has represented Deep since 2016, put it this way: “After this op-ed, there is no possibility that the team could get him another movie.”
Whigham reiterated the allegations made by Deep during his testimony last week in Fairfax, Virginia, saying: “After the editorial was published, he was never approached by the studio, which is something we typically focus on at that time. “
Deep said his career was “over” from “the moment the charges against me were made”, adding, “As soon as this happens, I lose. Regardless of the outcome of the trial, I will will be remembered forever.”
While Amber’s column didn’t mention Deep by name, Deep’s team now claims that the article clearly mentioned him and ruined his career, damaged his reputation and cost him tens of millions Dollar.
Previously, Deep told the court he would no longer be working with Disney on the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie.
At the same time, Deep’s team tried to portray Amber Heard as the abnormal person in their relationship, so during the trial they asked Travis McGivern (Deep’s bodyguard, hereinafter referred to as McGivern) about his 9 years working for Deep. Witnessed so-called violence.

McGivern said he witnessed Amber’s barrage of abuse at Deep, including how she referred to the father of two as a “damn daddy” and a “damn bitch.”
The bodyguard said he had even been the object of Amber’s alleged anger, testifying that she “demeaned” and mocked his chosen profession. “She called me a ‘yes man’ and she personally attacked me and my chosen profession,” he said.
And Amber Heard has always claimed that Deep abused her in multiple ways in their relationship.
Heard’s former nurse Erin Falati told the jury about text messages she received from Amber with pictures of her swollen face.
But when asked what she thought of the photos, Falati replied: “I’m not an expert…I mean she has different areas of colour on her face, but I don’t know exactly what.”
It has been confirmed that when Amber’s lawyers begin presenting their case, the first witness to be called will be clinical and forensic psychologist Dr Dawn Hughes.
Because Dr. Shannon Curry, a psychologist hired by the Deep team, conducted a 12-hour analysis of Heard last week, he testified that the actress has borderline personality disorder and organizational personality disorder.
