The Netflix original Korean drama “The Silent Sea” starring Doona Bae, Yoo Gong, and Joon Lee was announced on December 24th.
The official release of the poster at the same time, the whole drama has a total of 8 episodes.
“The Silent Sea” is Yoo Gong’s second appearance in Netflix series after the hit “Squid Game”.
The series is starring Doona Bae, Yoo Gong, Joon Lee, Seong-tae Heo, Seon-yeong Kim and directed by Choi Hang-yong.

“The Silent Sea” is based on the short film of the same name, and the short film director Choi Hang-yong continues to direct.
Korean artist Woo-sung Jung served as producer, and Eun-kyo Park wrote the script.
The story tells the story of several elite astronauts flying to the lunar research base to recover a mysterious sample when the earth encounters full-scale desertification in 2075.
Yoo Gong plays the captain Han Yoon-jae, Doona Bae plays the biologist Doctor Song Ji-an, and Joon Lee plays the engineer Captain Ryoo Tae-seok.
“The Silent Sea” will be officially launched on December 24, with a total of 8 episodes.
