Melissa Benoist is in talks to star in the new HBO Max drama “The Girls on the Bus” as a producer.

“The Girls on the Bus” follows 4 female journalists closely following a group of tainted US presidential candidates, finding friendship, love and scandal along the way.

The project was first on Netflix, then on The CW, and recently moved to HBO Max and received a full season of preorders.
