‘Batgirl’ footage emptied by Warner Bros, director says nothing left

According to media reports, earlier this month Warner Bros. decided to cancel all release plans for the movie ‘Batgirl’. Rumor has it that the movie is 90% complete and will go live on the HBO Max platform later this year.

Recently film director and producer Bilall Fallah wanted to try to “save” some of the footage from HBO Max’s server, but found that the film’s footage had already been emptied on the server.

Adil El Arbi also logged into the server after receiving the message and found that there was nothing left. On the other end of the phone, he cursed the beginning of the F expletive and said that not even Michael Keaton’s Batman footage was kept.

A Warner Bros. spokesperson said in a statement, “The decision not to release ‘Batgirl’ was a strategic shift in our leadership and it has everything to do with the DC Universe and HBO Max . Leslie Grace is a very talented actress and this decision has nothing to do with her performance, thank you so much to all the staff involved in ‘Batgirl We hope to work with all of you again in the near future.”

For this film was forced to cancel the release, how much can be saved? Previous industry analysis can at most reduce the loss of another $15-20 million for Warner.
