“Ambulance” Reveals New Action Special

Michael Bay’s new action blockbuster “Ambulance” has been released in theaters nationwide on April 8.

Emmy winner for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series/TV Movie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II plays a terrific war veteran with super-fiery action scenes and a complex inner circle.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in “Ambulance” as Will Sharp, a military veteran who robs a bank with his “professional criminal” brother Danny, played by Jake Gyllenhaal in order to raise money for his wife’s life, is constantly on the issue of survival and destruction make a choice.

Will Sharp, one of the other characters with very different purposes in this speeding small ambulance, is constantly oscillating between facing a lover at stake and continuing to stick to the bottom line, mixed with brotherhood and the moral shackles of saving lives, and Danny will never stop. Fleeing for his life, he quickly chased away with the police on the streets of Los Angeles, and his life was on the line.

“From the first day I stepped on the set, it was crazy,” Yahya Abdul-Mateen II described the experience of shooting “Ambulance”.

In Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s view, the story itself is brilliant, and it presents a rather difficult character, Will.

As a focus of the film, Will needs to continue to play a good person in difficult situations, and it is the contradiction of the whole film that also pushes the gripping story to a climax.

As a meritorious veteran, Will has lived an ordinary life of marrying a wife and having children, but he has an indelible friendship with Danny, a repeat robbery criminal.

After the two brothers were separated and conflicted again and again, they reunited because they needed to get rid of the predicament.

This dilemma, as well as the fast-paced and exciting storyline, inspired Yahya Abdul-Mateen II to have more inspiration to interpret this character.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II won the 72nd Primetime Emmy Award Limited Series/TV Movie Best Supporting Actor Award for the American drama “Watchmen”, and the 2nd Critics’ Choice Super Award for Best Actor Award for “Candyman”. And participated in a number of praiseworthy works.
