“The Witcher” series of TV series officially announced today that the third season officially started filming, and released a new set of photos.
The official wrote in the announcement: “Our family is back together again. “The Witcher Season 3″ is officially in production!”
At the same time, the official also released the plot summary of the third season of the show.
Plot synopsis:
With the continent’s monarchs, mages and beasts all vying for her, Geralt goes into hiding with Ciri from Sintra, determined to protect his newly reunited family and fight those who threaten to destroy it.

Meanwhile, Yennefer is entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, leading them to the protected Fortress of Arethusa, where she hopes to discover more about the girl’s untapped powers.
But contrary to their expectations, they find themselves in a battleground of political corruption, black magic and betrayal. They must fight back and risk losing each other forever.
The third season will feature Henry Cavill as the legendary witcher Geralt and Freya Allan as Ciri.
