“The Nightgardener‎”: Animation studio LAIKA announced the next new film and exposed concept photos

Animation studio LAIKA announced the next new film: “The Nightgardener‎”, and exposed concept photos.

The film is still LAIKA’s traditional stop-motion animation, directed by Travis Knight (“Kubo and the Two Strings‎” “Bumblebee”), and “Ozark” creator Bill Dubuque wrote the original script.

“The Nightgardener‎” is described as a brutal, neo-noir-style folklore tale.

It tells the story of a young man in rural Missouri who struggles to bring his family together after a tragedy, “a beautiful and classic story that will make your heart beat faster and heartbroken at the same time.”
