“The French Dispatch” will premiere in Cannes in July

“The French Dispatch” will premiere in Cannes in July and will be shortlisted for the main competition.

According to the media, Wes Anderson’s “The French Dispatch”, directed by Wes Anderson, will have its world premiere at this year’s Cannes International Film Festival and will be shortlisted for the main competition.

Since the Cannes Film Festival was suspended last year due to the epidemic, an official list of selected films was announced. “The French Dispatch” was one of the selected films.

Since then, “The French Dispatch” did not go to other film festivals to premiere, nor did it enter the North American awards season.

Previously, it was selected to be shown online in the summer archive, and then adjusted to October, and finally gave up. After waiting silently for a year, it finally chose to return to Cannes.

“The French Dispatch” is his tenth feature feature film directed by him, with a luxurious cast. Including Benicio del Toro, Adrian Brody, Tilda Swinton, Léa Saidou, Francis McDormand, Timothy Chalamet Wait, the film Cass is highly anticipated by movie fans.

Due to the large number of participants and epidemic control factors, it is currently uncertain how many actors will be present on the red carpet.
