“The Equalizer 3‎” Officially Approved, Denzel Washington Returns to Starring

The third film in the “The Equalizer” series is coming. According to media reports, “The Equalizer 3‎” has been officially approved, and Denzel Washington will return to star.

However, it is still unknown whether the director of the previous film, Antoine Fuqua, will return.

In the media speculation, the probability of Antoine Fuqua returning to the director is very high.

In fact, the script for “The Equalizer 3‎” has already been written. And in 2018, when filming “The Equalizer 2‎”, Antoine Fuqua already had plans for a third sequel.

He once said: “In my mind, this is going to be a film that takes place in Europe, and I want to see him in action in Europe.”

The film “The Equalizer” is based on the hit crime drama series of the same name. The male protagonist is a private investigator, a seasoned ex-government agent who battles the loopholes in the legal system in order to make amends for wrongs committed in the past.

Currently, “The Equalizer 3‎” has been set for release on September 1, 2023.
