Netflix’s live-action ‘Cowboy Bebop’ cancels renewal, John Cho: I’m so sad

Netflix’s “Cowboy Bebop” live-action series officially launched on November 19 last year, but apparently the widely watched series did not meet the expectations of audiences.

Netflix announced it was canceling the renewal of “Cowboy Bebop” a month after the show aired, citing poor reviews, lower-than-expected ratings and a lack of fan support.

Recently, “Cowboy Bebop” star John Cho also talked about the cancellation of the series in an interview with the media The Hollywood Repoter. He said that he was very upset that the series was suddenly cancelled.

“It was very shocking and I was devastated. I put a lot of heart and soul into it… It was a big event in my life and it just ended abruptly.”

John Cho went through quite a bit of ordeal while filming. Including injuries during filming, the family moved to the filming location of the series, etc.

There are some positive aspects, though.

John Cho said he was “very warm” by the fans’ reaction. “I’m a little confused about how to connect with people I don’t know, but I don’t question it. I value it and cherish it. I’m just so grateful that someone will care about me. It’s been inspiring for me. “
