Netflix blockbuster “Red Notice” will shoot two sequels, the original cast will return to shoot in early 2023

Although Netflix’s annual “Red Notice” Rotten Tomatoes index is 38%, and its IMDb score is only 6.4.

But Gal Gadot, Dwayne Johnson, and Ryan Reynolds still need two or three episodes because “Red Notice” is Netflix’s highest-grossing original movie ever.

According to Deadline, the two sequels will start back-to-back filming in early 2023, with the original cast returning.

It is reported that the two sequels will mimic the “Ocean’s Eleven” model, inviting some big stars to perform with Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds.

At the end of “Red Notice”, the three came to the Louvre Museum in Paris, France, and seemed to start a new treasure hunt.

“Red Notice” was originally a cooperation project between Universal Pictures and Legendary Pictures in 2018, but after the film production budget reached 200 million US dollars (including star pay), Universal Pictures chose to withdraw, and Netflix, which was not bad, took over.
