Martin Scorsese will make a biopic about the famous rock band “Grateful Dead”

Martin Scorsese has another new film plan to be exposed. According to media reports, the meritorious director will bring the story of the famous rock band Grateful Dead to the screen.

A few days ago, the film identified the actor Jonah Hill. He will play the lead singer of Grateful Dead Jerry Garcia in the film.

This is also the second collaboration between Jonah Hill and Martin Scorsese after “The Wolf of Wall Street”.

As a legendary band in history, Grateful Dead has many stories.

Currently, how Martin Scorsese will adapt the band’s story is still unknown.

However, Martin Scorsese has always been interested in Grateful Dead, and he has supervised the band’s documentary.

As for screenwriters, Scott M. Alexander and L.A. Karaszewski will write the script.

Grateful Dead was founded in Palo Alto, California in 1965, which was later called Silicon Valley.

The band was called Warlocks at first, but later discovered that it had the same name as Velvet Underground, so Garcia struggled to look through the dictionary and change the name.

When Garcia accidentally turned to the term Grateful Dead, he found that the word just fits the band’s temperament, so the band used this name.

In the history of rock and roll, Grateful Dead is the grandfather of Psychedelic Rock.

The biggest influence on the band is the “Beat Generation” that originated in San Francisco in the 1950s.

Jack Kerouac and his novel “On the Road” had a profound influence on the band.

In 1966, the band has become famous in the underground music scene, and their music includes everything from minor to hard rock.

In the summer of 1967, the band participated in the Raymond Music Festival, and Grateful Dead was hailed as the best band in the music industry.

The Grateful Dead system introduces a free form of music into rock music, and their music shows that they are constantly developing their musical ideals.
