According to Korean media, Kang-ho Song will be starring in a new drama ‘Uncle Sam Sik’ for the first time in his 32 years of debut. The director and writer of the drama is Yeon-shick Shin, and this is their third collaboration after ‘One Win’ and ‘Cobweb’.
The drama is about the desire and brotherhood of two men, Uncle Samshik and Jinshan, who are going through a turbulent period in the early 1960s. It is reported that the drama has 10 episodes.
For his film ‘Broker’, Kang-ho Song won a film award at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, becoming the first Korean actor to win a film award at three major European film festivals and the fourth Cannes winner from East Asia.
