Japanese urban legend “きさらぎ駅” will be adapted into a movie, it starring Yuri Tsunematsu

The story of the well-known Japanese urban legend “きさらぎえき” will be adapted into a movie “きさらぎ駅”.

Actress Yuri Tsunematsu, who has starred in “くちびるに歌を” and “女子高生の無駄づかい”, will be released in Japan in early summer of 2022.

“きさらぎえき” was originally a discussion thread on 2ch, telling the story of a self-proclaimed female netizen who came to a non-existent station “きさらぎえき”.

In this live-action version, Yuri Tsunematsu will play the heroine. Regarding this lead role, Yuri Tsunematsu said: “In this work, in order to surprise the audience, a lot of tricks are arranged.”
