Warner Media announced on Tuesday that on the 20th anniversary of the release of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, the cast of this series will reunite. The reunion chapter “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts” will be held next year. Launched on HBO Max on the 1st.
Actors participating in the reunion include Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) , Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), Robbie Kotrani (Rube Hagrid), Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort), James Sen Isaac (Lucius Malfoy), Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge),

And “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” director Chris Columbus will also appear in the special.

But there is one person who is not on the list of returning to the main creator-J.K. Rowling, the creator of the wizarding world.
According to the “Hollywood Reporter” report, J.K. Rowling will not be invited to make a new appearance in the special episode, but clips where she appeared in the past will appear on the show.
J.K. Rowling posted a “transphobia” remark on Twitter in June last year.
She said at the time that the term “menstruation” should not be used, and the term “woman” should be used directly (meaning that menstruation = female).
J.K. Rowling followed up with many related remarks, which caused huge controversy on the external network, and fans on the external network were almost overwhelmingly opposed to her.
To explain it a little bit more in plain language, J.K. Rowling probably means: If you have not had a “male-to-female” sex reassignment surgery, you can’t enter the women’s toilet.
In other words, if you did not have a male-to-female surgery, you are not a female.

After the controversy broke out, actors from the “Harry Potter” series such as Daniel, Emma, and Eddie Redmayne also issued opinions that contradicted J.K. Rowling-“transgender women are also women.”

The two largest “Harry Potter” fan sites also issued a joint statement last year, supporting transgender groups and rejecting J.K. Rowling’s remarks.
