Charlize Theron will star in a new film ‘Jane’, directed by Alfonso Cuarón

Charlize Theron will star and Alfonso Cuarón will direct a new film, ‘Jane’, which looks interesting.

Jane’ focuses on the well-known science fiction writer Philip K. Dick (works inspired ‘Blade Runner’ ‘Minority Report’ ‘The Man in the High Castle’ and other films and television), the title character Jane is Dick’s twin sister who died in infancy

In reality, Jane died as an infant just six months after birth, but she and her death “reoccurred” throughout Dick’s life.

He believes that many of his psychological problems and the ruggedness he encountered were related to her death, including his attachment anxiety, which also affected his creativity and life.

Dick’s lifetime of experience is as intertwined and psychedelic as his works.

The film is described as “a moving, suspenseful and darkly humorous story about a woman’s unique relationship with her brilliant but troubled twin son – who happens to be acclaimed novelist Philip K. Dick. that unique relationship.

Jane tries to rescue his brother from the twin dilemmas of reality and imagination, but in the process sinks deeper and deeper into the fantastic world he has created.

“The project is at Amazon, with both Theron and Cuarón producing, with Theron expected to star and Cuarón to direct.

Dick’s daughter Isa Hackett, who is also involved in the project as executive producer, says she is very familiar with the story of Jane, who, despite her early death, occupies a central place in her father’s universe.

“The film matches his unique imagination and will defy the conventions of ‘biopics’ to fit into that parallel reality Philip K. Dick craved so much, a world where his beloved sister didn’t die at six months old. It is her story that we will tell, seeing him and his imagination through her perspective. There is no better way to honor him: to fulfill his wishes, even if only on the big screen.”
