“Black Panther : Wakanda Forever” won consecutive weekly box office titles and ranked second in the year for its second weekend performance

Last week, the Northern America movie market was relatively less hot, with ‘Black Panther : Wakanda Forever’ roughly reporting $67.3 million at the box office to reach a second consecutive championship, the new movie ‘The Menu’ ranking second with $9 million at the box office, and the Christian TV series ‘The Chosen’ The third season of the Christian TV series ‘The Chosen’ ranked third in theatrical release.

If you compare the performance of ‘Black Panther’, the range of ‘Black Panther : Wakanda Forever’ is much worse.’ Black Panther’ grossed a whopping $110 million in its second weekend in 2018 , the fourth-best second weekend performance ever.

Currently, ‘Black Panther : Wakanda Forever’ has grossed $288 million in Northern America and $546.3 million worldwide.

The media expects that with good performance it could potentially approach $1 billion at the box office.

The thriller ‘The Menu’ took second place at the box office with $9 million in its opening weekend. The film follows a young couple who go to a fancy restaurant on a remote island where the chef prepares a lavish menu with some shocking surprises.

The film has a freshness of 90% on Rotten Tomatoes and a popcorn index of 79%. The evaluation is OK. ‘The Menu‎’ currently grossed $15.2 million at the global box office. Considering that the film cost as much as $30 million, the pressure to make it back is quite high.

The third entry was a U.S. drama about the biblical story of ‘The Chosen’ that tried to open in theaters for the first two episodes of its third season and took in $8.21 million, leaving behind both ‘Black Adam’ and ‘Ticket To Paradise’, which are in their fifth week of release.

‘Black Adam’ ranked fourth with $4.48 million, Northern America accumulated $156 million and $366 million worldwide.

‘Ticket To Paradise’ ranked fifth with $3.2 million, Northern America accumulated $61.55 million and $158 million worldwide.

Another new film, ‘She Said‎’, will be released in 2022 theaters, with a $2.25 million opening and ranking sixth. The film that focuses on awards season tells the true story behind the Weinstein sex scandal, with an 88% freshness on Rotten Tomatoes and a popcorn index of 86. %, CinemaScore A.
