‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ needs to hit $2 billion at the box office to pay for itself

Director James Cameron told GQ magazine about the difficulties of creating an Avatar sequel, saying that ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ had been in the works since 2013 and had not been finally produced by this year, September 2022.
