After 11 years of silence, “Lost” actor Matthew Fox returns to the US TV drama circle

The “Missing Person” has returned. Recently, the producer of the miniseries “Last Light” announced that the American drama “Lost” actor Matthew Fox will be the lead actor of the series.

This is Matthew Fox’s first appearance in a US drama 11 years later after the end of “Lost” in 2010.

“Last Light” is adapted from Alex Sgro’s best-selling novel. It is an action series that incorporates family elements.

“Last Light” is directed by Dennie Gordon, director of “Madam Secretary” and “Empire”, with “Downton Abbey” actress Joanne Froggatt as the leading actress.

Patrick Massett and John Zinman are the producers of “Last Light”, and the MGM TV department is responsible for the production. After the filming is completed, the Peacock streaming media of Universal’s subsidiary will be launched.

55-year-old Matthew Fox has always been a bit mysterious.

He gained popularity with the 1994 American drama “Party of Five”, won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in 1996, and was selected as one of the “World’s 50 Most Beautiful People” by “People” magazine.

Just as he was loved by critics and audiences, and his future was boundless, Matthew Fox suddenly left the “Party of Five” crew and experienced several years of obscurity.

In 2004 Matthew Fox met ABC’s “Lost”.

He played Jack, wise and brave, and became the core leader of the 48 deserted island survivors.

Because of “Lost”, Matthew Fox has returned to the position of a first-line actor, constantly on the cover of major American magazines, and has become a representative of a new generation of hardcore niche.

After the end of “Lost”, Matthew Fox experienced several unsuccessful big screen attempts such as “Alex Cross” and “Emperor”, and could only play a small supporting role in “World War Z”.

The last work was the 2015 movie “Bone Tomahawk”, after which he began to hide.

Now “Jack” is back!
