A new reboot has been added! Kiefer Sutherland expresses his willingness to make a sequel to the American drama “24”

In September 2021, Fox announced that it was in “active creative discussions” to revive the classic “24” series. The original series ran for nine seasons and was also expanded into a movie.

In a recent interview with GQ magazine, star Kiefer Sutherland also talked about his views on the series and the character.

It seems that under the wave of classic reboots, many previous memories have the opportunity to come back again.

“I miss it. It was an unbelievable experience,” Kiefer Sutherland said of the long-running Fox series: “I know you’d better not give a definitive answer about whether you’re going to do something. I love playing this character. I believe the story is not over yet. If there is something to write about that is meaningful to me and I think I will contribute to the team, then I will support it, even if my participation is limited.”

However, any IP revival is likely to be more vulnerable to criticism or resistance.

The first episode of the series premiered on November 6, 2001, just a few weeks after the 9/11 attacks.

And for modern audiences, some elements of the show may be criticized for being outdated.
