What is the ultimate fate of the Deathly Hallows?

The Deathly Hallows marked the culmination of the “Harry Potter” series, which featured Voldemort’s defeat in the final battle.

In fact, the story of the Deathly Hallows is so grand that the novel was split into two films, in which Harry, Ron and Hermione discover the Deathly Hallows and their key to fighting the forces of darkness effect.

However, after the Battle of Hogwarts and Voldemort’s death, the fate of these items is somewhat up in the air.

In the wizarding world, the Deathly Hallows is related to an ancient tale – “The Tale of the Three Brothers”.

The incarnation of Death gave each of the three Peverell brothers a magical gift, of which Antioch Peverell got the Elder Wand, Cadmus Peverell got the Resurrection Stone, and Ignotus Peverell got the Cloak of Invisibility.

And these items are actually the ruse used by Death to take the lives of his brothers. Except for Ignotus, he cleverly used the Cloak of Invisibility to avoid Death, and the other two brothers lost their lives.

After being part of Harry’s journey, the Deathly Hallows soon became a MacGuffin, just like the Horcrux and the Sword of Gryffindor.

Of course, Harry already had the Cloak of Invisibility in his first year at Hogwarts.

Unfortunately, Voldemort eventually found the Elder Wand in Dumbledore’s grave.

When Harry learned that the Resurrection Stone was hidden inside the Snitch and that he was the true master of the Elder Wand, he defeated Voldemort and obtained the wand.

But just like in “A Tale of Three Brothers,” only one piece of the Deathly Hallows gets a meaningful future.

In “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2‎”, after the Battle of Hogwarts, the fate of the Elder Wand is different from the novel, after Harry defeated Voldemort, he broke the Elder Wand and threw it away.

In the novel, Harry returns the wand to Dumbledore’s grave, while the location of the other two items remains to be guessed.

As for the Resurrection Stone, Harry used it in the Forbidden Forest to meet his dead parents, as well as Sirius and Lupin, before meeting Voldemort.

But after he decides to accept his fate, he leaves the Resurrection Stone on the ground in the forest, and with the shadow of the one he loves disappears, he leaves.

Finally, at least it was confirmed that the Cloak of Invisibility was still in Harry’s hands. The Cloak of Invisibility was given to Harry by Dumbledore during his first year at Hogwarts, because it belonged to his father James. It can be seen as a similar experience that Ignotus passed it on to his own son.

And, as fate would have it, Harry passed the Cloak of Invisibility to his own son, continuing the tradition of the Cloak of Invisibility being the most important of the wizarding world, the Deathly Hallows.
