“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4”: The woman who can tell the most erotic jokes is back

“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” scored high marks in the first three seasons, and received an 82% freshness rating on Rotten Tomatoes in the fourth season. The most humorous ex-wife, the most fashionable comedian “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4” is back.

The story follows the end of the third season.

Because of the joke in the opening show about Shy’s meeting in the women’s bathroom and the red magic shoes, Shy thinks Miriam’s meme risks revealing his sexuality.

So Miriam was expelled from the tour and was thrown on the runway neatly dressed.

Another hit in life, this time with a career collapse. Miriam’s heart was full of anger and disappointment, and she took off her clothes and ranted on the side of the road.

After the emotional outburst, the mess of life continues: she has to make sure her two children live happily and comfortably; she has to let her parents move out of her ex-in-law’s house and live with dignity; she has to work hard to make money to pay off all the debts and pay all the bills.

What Miriam has is responsibility, pressure and talent. She bought the former apartment on an impulse and was in debt.

Broker Susie embezzled all of her salary, and the promised savings were never available. The news of Shy’s dismissal spread in the circle, and no one was willing to give her a stage.

What Miriam lacks is money, career and opportunity. Her life is like a roller coaster. It seems bright and warm, but it is a step by step.

Miriam once lived in a dream that was carefully nurtured by everyone: a perfect family, a perfect parent, a perfect self.

In the first season of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”, the perfect family fell apart, and the husband ripped apart the dream with wayward infidelity and childish complaints.

Miriam rushed to the stage in great grief and anger, bared her body and questioned her soul: If she is so good, how could she be abandoned by others?

“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” Season 2, Perfect Parents Broken.

The mother was fed up with living like an invisible person for many years, she had dreams and throbbing, and she also needed to be noticed and seen as a complete personality.

Her mother left Paris, and in the trivial and cramped daily life, she was fascinated by art and life, bursting with vigorous charm and vitality.

The father finally saw the mother’s existence completely in his eyes, but losing their jobs meant that they also lost their luxurious residence and had to live in the former in-law’s mansion.

In the third season of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” the perfect self was born and then dropped.

Miriam’s talk show career is on the rise. She is favored by the industry and has the opportunity to accompany the big stars on the tour.

The success of a career stems from personal talent, but the failure of a career is just because of an “untimely” punch line.

After breaking dreams again and again, Miriam’s fighting spirit is high in the fourth season of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”, and the talk show wife is about to become the talk show queen.

“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” wraps the bitter truth in light and brightly feminine comedy icing: It takes more effort and cost than men to succeed.

For example, male talk show actors say erotic jokes on stage to make fun of women, and no matter how bad the joke is, no matter how old it is, there is still a chance to perform.

Miriam came on stage and repeated the same joke, and was thrown out of the club. Because men driving is humorous, women say erotic jokes are immoral.

An angry Miriam stood in front of the club and roared: Is there no one willing to spend money to spend a happy time with me?

Before Miriam could finish speaking, the police had already taken her to jail as a street girl.

Under the dark humor, the double dilemma faced by women is exposed

In the workplace, women have lower glass ceilings, making it difficult for them to ascend. In life, women have more stringent glass sewers, not only have higher moral standards, but also accept all-round scrutiny and criticism.

“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” scored high marks for its focus on women’s rights, but it also came with some regrets.

The drama focuses on the plight of women and uncovers the truth about the pressure of women’s survival. However, due to the tone of comedy, it has to stop at the criticism and ridicule.

In the first three seasons, although Miriam suffered a series of ups and downs and broken dreams, there was always someone who could save her from the disaster.

The agent Susie did her best to her. Although she cheated her salary, she and her sister set fire to defraud her to recover the loss.

After her ex-husband’s derailment and divorce, she still has a strong sense of responsibility towards Miriam, and cheering for Miriam will help her solve her financial difficulties.

Compared to Miriam’s original character, Joan Rivers, Miriam’s ups and downs are obviously relatively minor

Joan Rivers, the queen of American talk shows, has been tortured many times in her life, but she overcomes all the ups and downs with laughter.

She has two marriages, her second husband committed suicide, was 55 years old with huge debts and was blocked by TV stations…

Faced with numerous setbacks, Joan Rivers fought back with astonishing moral speed and astonishing talent, forging a way out for himself and his family.

Life gave Joan a thorn in the ground, and Joan Rivers gave life a raised middle finger in return.

In such a comparison, Miriam’s encounters in the first three seasons made her lack the ruthlessness of “survival”.

But this regret will be remedied in the fourth season, because Miriam issued her “revenge” declaration at the beginning of the fourth season:

Miriam, who suffered Shy’s dismissal, also fell into a “life and death” juncture. She had no income and was burdened with huge debts. Her father, who was once rich, now earns only enough to buy an egg a week.

Beyond supporting her family and living with dignity, Miriam has discovered the greatest asset she has: herself!

Blindly catering to the market and giving up yourself will definitely be eliminated by the market.

Instead of a rout beyond recognition, it is better to fight to the last minute on the road to survival, if the market rules do not apply to women, then change the rules!

Amazon announced a fifth season extension before the show’s fourth season, but also announced that the fifth season will be the show’s final season.

The story is about to come to an end, and the comedy battlefield belonging to Miriam has entered a white-hot battle. How does she conquer the market and become the queen of talk shows?
