“Spider-Man: No Way Home” upgrades the equipment of the old villains, and fans are 100 satisfied

The general plot of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is almost spoiled by everyone.

It was Peter Parker who went to Doctor Strange and wanted to erase everyone’s memories. As a result, there was a mistake in casting the spell, causing villains from other universes to come to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

These villains, of course, are also characters from previous Spider-Man movies, including Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, and more.

In “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, the appearance of some villains has changed, the most obvious of course is Electro, he is finally not blue.

And there’s Green Goblin, who doesn’t wear that iconic mask for most of the movie.

According to Willem Dafoe in an interview with The New York Times, that’s because fans didn’t like the mask.

“I have to be honest, I know there was a lot of criticism for the Green Goblin mask in the original version.”

“We’ve heard a lot of this kind of comments, and maybe it’s because of that, so some changes have been made.”

“I didn’t think about it because I didn’t think about using my face to express emotions in a big way. My face moves with the heart. It’s just an expression of feeling.”

Alfred Molina also stated that his tentacles became a special effect maker for “Spider-Man: No Way Home”.

“In the beginning of the movie, those tentacles — I almost said mine — they were mechanical.”

“They were all personalised by puppeteers. We were like a gang – I nicknamed us the ‘Octopus Gang’.”

“But this time, the technology is much more advanced, the tentacles are all computer-generated, and I’m on my own. It’s a whole other way.”

I have to say that although the original shape has been changed, the changed shape seems to be more popular than before.

For example, Willem Dafoe is more able to show his acting skills without a mask.

On the screen, his wild laughter and sneer look almost become the childhood shadow of a new generation of children.

“Spider-Man: No Way Home” will be available digitally on February 28.
