“Peaky Blinders” male protagonist Cillian Murphy is extremely low-key in reality, and he is most afraid of fans taking pictures

Cillian Murphy’s wife is just as low-key as he is, and the two met in 1996 at one of his rock band gigs. In 2004, Cillian Murphy married his wife Yvonne McGuinness.

Although married for 18 years, the couple is rarely photographed together. They live in Dublin with their two sons, 16-year-old and 14-year-old.

As for his wife, Cillian Murphy says he owes much of his success to his artist wife.

While he’s out for six months a year filming “Peaky Blinders”, it’s up to his wife to coordinate their family life in Ireland.

Cillian Murphy and his wife, both vegetarians, said of their usual life away from the screen: “We cook, watch movies, and listen to music.”

They don’t have any extravagant hobbies, they don’t have any fancy pursuits, they just return to ordinary life.
