Life is far more bizarre than a story. How many movies have you watched based on real events?

The styles of movies adapted from real events are very different, but the content of the movie can always bring a deep shock to the audience, whether it is the bizarre story or the glory of human nature.

The key thing is that these things have actually happened, which makes people feel far more than those fictional movie plots after watching them.

Today, I recommend a few movies adapted from real events to appreciate the history of real events.

1.The Last Emperor

The film is jointly produced by Italian Yanke Film Company, British Dao Film Company, and Chinese Film Co-production Company.

This movie, released in 1987, perfectly shows the life of Pu Yi’s legend.

From having everything when he was born to becoming a puppet of the Japanese, the times left deep scars on him.

A child who had been lonely from childhood to most, had a little affection, love, and friendship, and was soon deprived of it.

When he wanted to reform, the eunuch burned the court books. His life was a serious tragedy.

2.The Imitation Game

The movie, released in 2014, tells the story of the “father of computer science” Alan Turing who assisted the Allied forces in deciphering the German cryptographic system “Ingmar”, thereby turning the tide of World War II.

The story shows the story of such a high-IQ genius who worked hard in scientific research during the war years, and at the same time was mistaken for a spy because of the confidentiality agreement.

Although the film is starring Benedict Cumberbatch, many of the settings of the film still caused problems in the evaluation of the film.

Perhaps in order to cater to the public, Alan Turing’s emotional intelligence was appropriately reduced in the film, making him appear more nerdy.

Moreover, the film shows his personal achievements as team-oriented achievements, and there is a certain historical deviation.

But the purpose of this is to not want to show him too good and make people ignore his efforts, which is understandable.

3.Togo

The movie starring Willem Dafoe has a high rating. The Douban rating of 8.8 is for the spirit of the movie.

The film tells the story of Leonhard Seppala, a sled master, and his sled dog Togo transporting serum in 1925 to save the lives of children in Alaska.

Twenty sled riders and 150 sled dogs traveled day and night through complex terrain such as forests and rivers.

On the way, some people lost their fighting spirit and betrayed the mission. In this rescue, both the good and the evil of human nature were revealed.

When I saw this, the first thing I thought was whether it was worth the risk of transporting so many people.

Later, I realized that some things are not worth doing, but someone must stand up and do it.

4.Hacksaw Ridge

This film is adapted from the real experience of Desmond T. Doss, a high-ranking soldier in World War II.

The film tells the legend that he refused to bring weapons to the battlefield and saved 75 comrades in arms in the Battle of Okinawa.

Desmond T. Doss went from a cowardly soldier to a saint who madly rescued his compatriots. His growth and changes are all in this movie.

His aversion to violence and his persistence in his own beliefs allowed him to do what others could not do and became a “non-mainstream war hero.”

5.The Cove

Taiji, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, seems to be a beautiful small fishing village, but there are often brutal and inhumane scenes.

Tens of thousands of dolphins pass through this sea every year, but they can never leave.

The film tells the story of the dolphin trainer Richard O’Barry, who was shocked after witnessing the death of the dolphins, and he began to participate in the protection of dolphins from then on.

Regardless of the obstruction of the Japanese government and villagers, they sneaked into the local area to collect materials and made their crimes public.

The film won the Best Documentary Feature Film at the 82nd Oscar Awards in 2010.

In the past, I only knew that sharks were slaughtered severely in Japan. I saw this documentary and realized that Japan was so cruel to dolphins.

Such an ugly face is really speechless.

Conclusion:

Every film adapted from a real event is a record of history, no matter the good or the bad, we can always get insights from it.

The real world is always more mysterious than the story, and the daily life around you and me may be more wonderful than the movie.
