Recently, ‘Better Call Saul’ writer Vince Gilligan and producer Peter Gould said that the ‘Breaking Bad’ universe will come to an end after the final episode of the sixth season of ‘Better Call Saul’ airs on August 15 .
Gilligan said, “We thought we could make the ‘Breaking Bad’ universe even better with a spin-off, and I’m very happy with the results so far, and then I did ‘El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie’ and I’m proud of it, but I think it’s time to bring the series to a close.”
Gilligan added, “There are no plans to do anything more in the series.” Gould agreed with him, adding that he wanted to try something new, but said he “can’t say there’s no way we’ll ever do another ‘Breaking Bad’ series, because who knows what we’ll have in mind in a few years.”
Better Call Saul’ is a spin-off of ‘Breaking Bad’, which tells the story of Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) before he meets drug attorney ‘Walter White’, depicting the transformation of good-natured lawyer ‘Jimmy’ into an unscrupulous lawyer who wanders on the edge of the law. Saul’.
