Multiple media outlets are reporting that two heavy names in Hollywood horror: Jason Blum and James Wan’s production companies Blumhouse and Atomic Monster are expected to merge and are currently in late stage negotiations.

Blumhouse’s production credits include ‘Paranormal Activity’, ‘The Purge’, ‘Halloween’, ‘Get Out’, ‘Happy Death Day’, ‘The Exorcist’, ‘Sinister’, etc., while Atomic Monster’s production credits include ‘Paranormal Activity’, ‘The Purge’, ‘Halloween’, ‘Get Out’, ‘Happy Death Day’, ‘The Exorcist’, ‘Sinister’, etc. ‘ etc. Atomic Monster titles include ‘The Conjuring’, ‘Saw’, ‘Insidious’ etc.

Both companies are involved in the production of the new horror film ‘M3GAN’, which will be released in January next year. Both companies will continue to operate as separate labels even after the merger, maintaining their creative and branding independence.
