Producer Ryan Murphy talks about his revisiting the success of “Glee,” which began in 2009 and is set in the fictional William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio, and revolves around the school’s “New Directions” glee club and its members.
In 2015, the show was announced to end in its entirety on March 20, 2015 for six seasons due to the death of actor Cory Monteith.
“Should we somehow reboot it? Should we produce a Broadway musical for it? It’s kind of like an interesting legacy, and I’m interested in doing that in a positive way after a pause.”
