‘Variety’ exclusively reports: Damien Chazelle (‘La La Land’ ‘Whiplash’) directs the new film ‘Babylon‎’ which runs 188 minutes / 3 hours and 8 minutes (a full hour longer than ‘La La Land’).

The film is star-studded with Brad Pitt, Diego Calva, Margot Robbie, Li Jun Li, Tobey Maguire, Jovan Adepo, Katherine Waterston, Max Minghella, Olivia Wilde, Spike Jonze Phoebe Tonkin, Samara Weaving, Flea, Rory Scovel, Lukas Haas, Eric Roberts, P.J. Byrne, Damon Gupton and others star.

‘Babylon’ cost $80-100 million to produce, and the film is rated R. It will be released in Northern America on Dec. 23.

The story focuses on the creation of Hollywood in the early 1920s, a period of transition from silent to talkies, full of people chasing fame, fortune and power, portraying the rise and fall of multiple characters, as well as the lives of ambitious, wild and wildly uncontrollable and fully out of control.
