Guillermo del Toro directed the stop-motion film ‘Pinocchio’ revealed the original sound clip, the little puppet Pinocchio sang the theme song “Ciao Papa”. The film’s music was created by Alexandre Desplat, and the orchestration is all wood instruments.

Cate Blanchett, Finn Wolfhard, Ewan McGregor, Tilda Swinton, Ron Perlman, Christoph Waltz, Tim Blake Nelson, David Bradley and more make up the lavish voice cast, which will go live on December 9 Netflix.

The film premiered at this year’s BFI London Film Festival and currently has a Rotten Tomatoes fresh rating of 96% (46 reviews) and a 100% popcorn index.

The film is based on the classic Italian fairy tale, the original story of the old carpenter and the “lying long-nosed” puppet, the gyroscopic version will have a “darker, twisted adaptation”, and is a musical. The puppet and the cricket, a story that “you think you know well, but you don’t”.
